Legacy Project - 4th & 5th
This year, the ER will be participating in a legacy project school wide. Students will create individual "tiles" with the message "Stronger Together" on it and the tracing of their hand filled with vibrant colors. After they are done designing their tile, students will then turn submit a picture of their design through Google Classroom.
Families will also have an opportunity to have their child's tile printed on an assortment of items like bags, mugs, water bottle, greeting cards and more. This is through a fundraiser we participated in last year, Square1Art.
ZENTANGLE
What is Zentangle?
A Zentangle design is relaxing, and fun way to create beautiful images by drawing structured patterns. We call these patterns, tangles. You create tangles with combinations of dots, lines, simple curves, S-curves and orbs.
Zentangle art is and unplanned so you can focus on each stroke and not worry about the result. There is no up or down to Zentangle art. If fact, you can most easily create Zentangle art by rotating your paper as you tangle -- always keeping your hand in a relaxed position. You don't need to know what a tangle is going to look like to draw it. Have fun with it. There is know wrong way.
