ELEANOR ROOSEVELT RUNNING CLUB
About the Program
The Eleanor Roosevelt Running club is a fun and challenging running program only for students of ER. This program will teach the young athletes the fundamentals of running through weekly team workouts. They will also learn about teamwork, commitment and perseverance through this character based running program. This program is offered to all students, K-5. All the runners will train to compete in 2 different 1 mile events. The Sesame Place Classic and the Yardley Memorial Main Street Mile. Practices will be held twice a week (MON AM & WED PM) for grades 2-5 and during recess for grades K & 1.
We will only be accepting 15 kindergarten runners, 15 first grade runners and a total of 40 second-fifth grade runners.
The registration fee is $50. This includes a running club dri-fit shirt, registration to the Yardley Main Street Mile race and general club fees. Registration for the Sesame Place Classic is done separately by each family. Family members are encouraged to race as well.
