Cross Country
Registration OPEN August 29-September 1
Join the Eleanor Roosevelt Cross Country Team to learn about running, racing, character development and teamwork.
What is Cross Country?
Cross Country is an individual and team sport where athletes run a fixed distance, typically on grass or trails. The races are run by age group and gender and don't exceed 1.86miles.
ERCC Practice begins:
SEPTEMBER 6th | Thursday
We offer two practices a week. We ask that your child attends both practices
MONDAY MORNING 7:45am - 8:45am
THURSDAY AFTERNOON: 3:45pm - 5pm
Cross Country Meet: October 9th | 10am
Sports attire and athletic clothes needed.
Please pack water and a snack. This is VERY important
Practices will be comprised of:
Warm-up stretches
Running Drills & Relays
Cool-down stretches
Each week they will run longer without stopping. We will go by time and not distance. This will prepare them for race day
Practices will be led by Brian Doron (Teacher), Megan Esmonde-Bogan (Head Coach), Jeanine Davis (Teacher) and Christen Baglieri (PTO Volunteer)
WHEN ARE THE MEETS?
Meet Date: Oct 2nd | 4:15PM at Eleanor Roosevelt
Team scrimmage at ER. Parents are encouraged to attend.

Meet Date: Oct 9th | 10am at Gwynedd Mercy Academy
We have been invited to compete against the Ambler Olympic Club (AOC) on their home field.
