What is Cross Country?

Cross Country is an individual and team sport where athletes run a fixed distance, typically on grass or trails. The races are run by age group and gender and don't exceed 1.86miles.

ERCC Practice begins:

SEPTEMBER 6th | Thursday

  • We offer two practices a week. We ask that your child attends both practices

  • MONDAY MORNING 7:45am - 8:45am

  • THURSDAY AFTERNOON: 3:45pm - 5pm

  • Cross Country Meet: October 9th | 10am

  • Sports attire and athletic clothes needed.

  • Please pack water and a snack. This is VERY important

Practices will be comprised of:

Warm-up stretches

Running Drills & Relays

Cool-down stretches

Each week they will run longer without stopping. We will go by time and not distance. This will prepare them for race day

Practices will be led by Brian Doron (Teacher), Megan Esmonde-Bogan (Head Coach), Jeanine Davis (Teacher) and Christen Baglieri (PTO Volunteer)
